A Generous Donation
In the heart of Nakuru City lies a story of resilience, ambition, and community spirit. Back in 1985, the government of Cyprus extended a generous hand by donating funds for the creation of maize storage facilities and what would later become the Cyprus Park theme park. For one brief year, this land echoed with the buzz of trucks loading and offloading maize into the 30 well-structured silos made out of asbestos material. But then, the project failed due to the climate’s effect on the construction material leading to development of cracks on the bins and consequently leakage. Hence, maize had to be relocated by the Cereals Board and the establishment fell silent, its potential forgotten, awaiting the day when it would be revived.
A Vision In the Making
Fast forward to 2021, a group of visionary investors, armed with a go-ahead from the county government, stood at the gates of this forgotten gem. Determined to breathe new life into this historic space, they embarked on a journey to reclaim and transform it into a modern-day wonderland. Cyprus Park was born, rising from the ashes of an abandoned establishment, and with it, a promise of excitement, adventure, and unforgettable memories.

Today, Cyprus Park stands as a testament to the power of vision and community collaboration.
